You're SCANNING traditional film to digital? I just assumed you had a high-end digital SLR. You'll get no complaints from me regarding your pics. What amazes me even more is that you've compressed the pictures very effectively - we're on dial-up and it don't take five minutes to download the images!

ooh ooh I remember one cute little lake in the Desolation Wilderness - anyone been to Jabu Lake?

Telkwa...I shoot slide film, either Fuji Velvia 50 or Kodak E100VS and then scan it on my $200 Konica Minolta film scanner. I am really clueless when it comes to the digital aspects... The slides look much better in their original form than the scans do.
