I wonder if the OPs ranger buddy told him that last night the snow line dropped way down and we now have 3"-4" of freshie at lake level????

And snowing on the Mammoth mountain cam! This storm went from a 20% chance in Tahoe this weekend, to dropping a foot on Mt Rose and extending down to Mammoth. Exactly the refresh the spring season needed.

It ain't over yet. Trying not to get my hopes up since the GFS has been like drunk texting then standing us up all winter but the last week of April is lookin pretty wet.

You should put a trigger warning on any post with "GFS" in it :rolleyes: We'd still be digging out if we got all they snow that stupid model promised.

Totally. GFS almost got me to change my plans in early January to stay in Tahoe instead of go to Crystal. So glad I didn't---Crystal got 5 feet in 3 days while Tahoe got dust on crust. But Bryan Allegretto has some hope https://opensnow.com/dailysnow/tahoe/post/22763 We'll see I guess!
