High Sierra Topix

So...I have my reservation, but the ranger station in Prather is closed, and I can't get anyone to return my calls.

Has anyone dealt with this location recently, and what did you do to get your permit?

Well, of course. As soon as I posted this, I tried again, and got someone to answer the phone. They said the permit is available (left outside) the day before the first day of the permit.

Good to know, I'll be heading that way next week too! Where are you going on your trip?
