Thanks for the report and photos. Nice adventure. Of course you can probably guess one of the things on my mind. Did you observe anything about various salmonids (especially nice sized ones) swimming around in those lakes?

Long have I been curious about that particular area. I have only been as close as Mosquito Pass and Florence Lake.
One nice thing about it is that it's one of a relatively few areas where you can get plenty of solitude and nice off-trail lakes in just a few days. If you have limited time for a trip, this is a good one.
Of course you can probably guess one of the things on my mind. Did you observe anything about various salmonids (especially nice sized ones) swimming around in those lakes?
Lou said he saw some fish in Ward Mountain Lake. I think the others are probably fishless. I didn't ask him about size, because he didn't have his fishing gear, and I don't care what size fish are unless I'm going to be eating them. ;)
