Thanks, y'all! :)

Dave, Ward Mountain Lake is beautiful, but I think Lake 10200 was my favorite--the view from there is just amazing.
I lost the trail trying to get back over to Courtright from Florence; went in circles for 2 hours.
-and-
I took a wrong turn off that trail heading up the hill from Florence and it took a while to realize it - and I'm usually fairly good at following faint paths!
I am so glad it isn't just me. The Thompson Pass Trail really is as useless as a one-rock duck. ;)

Nice pictures and a worthy trip. Long have I been curious about that particular area. I have only been as close as Mosquito Pass and Florence Lake.

Thanks for the report and photos. Nice adventure. Of course you can probably guess one of the things on my mind. Did you observe anything about various salmonids (especially nice sized ones) swimming around in those lakes?

Thanks, Doyle and GB.

One nice thing about it is that it's one of a relatively few areas where you can get plenty of solitude and nice off-trail lakes in just a few days. If you have limited time for a trip, this is a good one.

Lou said he saw some fish in Ward Mountain Lake. I think the others are probably fishless. I didn't ask him about size, because he didn't have his fishing gear, and I don't care what size fish are unless I'm going to be eating them. ;)
