I really like Caltopo. You can add paths and markers (for mileage, landmarks, etc., although the mileage isn't perfect). You can export to pdf and then open the pdfs in apps like Avenza Maps (Android or iPhone) and on your phone it will show you your location on the map. You can also profile trails and get simulated summit views with mountain names to help identify the skyline scenery.
