My fourth and final backpacking trip this summer of 2016. A 5 day 4 night trip over Bishop Pass into Dusy Basin in Kings Canyon National Park September 8 thru 12. A destination I've visited a few times in the past but not for about a decade. Worked nice areas of red hued dwarf bilberry as foregrounds into some of the subjects like Isosceles Peak above. Weather was too breezy for afternoon water reflections that is the norm but I did experience some nice periods of calm during a couple mornings. Select page 15 on the below Contents page link:

In the future I want to return to some of those upper South Fork of Bishop Creek areas and back at Dusy Basin for a few days about early August when wildflower peak. Wildflowers in the basin are not as plentiful as some other similar elevation crest areas but it does have some nice patches of shooting star.

Gorgeous photography from one of the best. Lots of ooos and ahhhs as I looked this trip over.
