Just finished a section of Andrew Skurka's new Kings Canyon High Basin Route, traversing the Sierras from west (Lodgepole) to east (Onion Valley). Here's the full report:

AWESOME hike!!! This area is definitely on my radar next season. You guys are one tough crew handling all that terrain.

Awesome trip and a fun read, your blog is great! I crossed the first half and a portion of the GWD a few year ago, thanks for the memories:)
