jmac's great trip report inspired me to try this same loop, although in the opposite direction. I don't have much to add to that TR. It's been about 15 years since I've been on these trails, and I was amazed to find that I remembered some of them down to each switchback. Garnet Lake was prettier than I remembered, 1000 Island a bit less. I hadn't been to the Minaret lakes before, and of the three I definitely preferred Minaret Lake over Cecile and Iceberg. I didn't cross any snow, at Iceberg or elsewhere.

We may have passed each other! Probably unlikely though, I just did a dayhike from Agnew Meadows to Ediza Lake yesterday, so it would have had to have been between the JMT junction and Ediza Lake. I really wanted to go to Iceberg and Cecile but I was exhausted and didn't want to do more uphill.
