Flowers along the High Sierra Trail, out of Crescent Meadow July 10
Lots of Crimson columbine along the trail
Sneezeweed
A typical flowery creek
Mustang clover (those higher up, near Bearpaw, had dried up), mixed with Mountain bluebells
Paintbrush below Hamilton Lake
Peak season for Sierra lily (all the way down to Crescent Meadow)
A bit past the lupine peak
Mountaineer shooting stars
Mountain bluebells, past peak
Mountain heather
Even flowers at Precipice Lake
Meadow of Subalpine shooting stars, just below Kaweah Gap
Follow the flowers
Patch of Phlox
Dense buckwheat
Alpine columbine
Heading home
Fireweed
Richardson's geranium
Obviously there's a lot more out there not in these pics. If my IDs are wrong, let me know!
And these aren't flowers, just other cool things along the trail:
Rubber boa
Sierra mountain kingsnake
Precipice Lake and Eagle Scout Peak

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

The flower you called phlox is actually Nuttall's sandwort. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.
