evolution creek (in september) for a rookie

hey all

i'm planning to do the north lake/south lake loop around memorial day with a friend. he's done some backpacking, but 5 days in the sierra will be a definite step up for him.

i'm curious if you all think the evolution creek crossing would be at all problematic for him.
the internet makes reference here and there to it being a somewhat difficult ford.
from what i've seen it is fairly wide, but by early september i'd have to assume that its roar will be suitably softened.
but i just wanted to ask.

thank you!

No issues in Sept.

thanks maverick!
for such a popular stretch of trail i would have to assume as such, but wanted to ask anyway :)
