Sixty Lakes Basin --> Arrowhead Lake

Post by wanderin.jack »

I've done enough off-trail in the Sierra to know that maps can be deceiving. Looking to get down from the north end of Sixty Lakes Basin to Arrowhead Lk. Looks simple on the map and an obvious way through, Anyone care to offer any first hand knowledge?

Many thanks!

My brother and I did it Last year as a loop last year. we hiked down to Arrowhead lake and then up that canyon to the north end of Sixty Lake Basin. Kind of steep, but easy class one.
