git yer online California Campfire Permit

Postby SSSdave » Sun Jun 05, 2016 9:48 am

A reminder for all we California outdoor dispersed camping enthusiasts now starting to venture outdoors in summer that one needs to bother to get an annual California Campfire Permit lest one be subject to wearing red stripes with a iron ball at the end of a chain collared to one's ankle. In this era getting a permit is very convenient as can be done online and then printed out after watching a short video then taking a short quiz.

National parks consider their permits as being fire permits, all in one. But you'll need one outside the parks, in national forest and national forest wilderness.

Cliffs notes? That's a hard arse test. ;)
I'm still rather convinced that you can achieve more than you've ever dreamed of if you just lower your standards.
