Thanks to you all for your thanks ...however to give credit where it is really due, I first learned about heywhatsthat.com from a post here on High Sierra Topix ! Source of all kinds of good information. A poster named no2haven put the link up back in 2012.

Have you tried http://caltopo.com/view?
Seems like you can indeed see Mammoth Mountain:

I bet they are! Stayed in Visalia on business once during the winter, and the views were spectacular. For my money, the best views of the Sierra from anywhere in the Valley.iHartMK wrote:The views from Visalia are amazing on these clear winter days!

This is fantastic. I switched the overlay to "image" and it really comes alive.dbogey wrote:From this view starting in fresno you should be able to see the top of Goddard.

I asked for something like this almost 2.5 years ago in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9610 , and this is the first time I've found something that really does it!

That is spectacular. No more guesswork. Now I need to figure out how to print on consecutive pages. Would make a nice wall covering in my dining room..norcalhiker wrote:Have you tried http://caltopo.com/view?
