www.sierrahiker.com is temporarily down

Post by sekihiker »

For the first time in almost 20 years, my website is no longer online. My most recent host, Comcast, decided they no longer wanted to host websites.

I'm looking for a new home for my web pages. If you have had a good experience with your web host, please send me a PM or contact me at sierrahiker(at)comcast(dot)net.

I'll be back online as soon as I find a new host.

Thanks -

After a bad experience with Big Blue Host, I have moved my domains to fatcow and helped a friend move her business website to arvixe. I recommend arvixe - they have good response when you are experiencing difficulties. I've had to contact them on her behalf a number of times and get same day responses. If you're going to pay for space they are reasonably priced as well.

I got a contract with a web host today. I should have it back up soon. I hope I can remember how to do everything necessary. I have put the site up over a number of years, writing all the html with very basic editor. With luck, it won't be too difficult.

Well, it's finally back up at www.sierrhiker.com

If you have a bookmark to the site, make sure it reads: www.sierrahiker.com

If the bookmark is sierrahiker.home.comcast.net, it won't link to the site.
