Really enjoyed your TR--thanks for sharing

This trip (in the opposite direction) was the first trip in the Sierras my husband and I did upon moving to California. Dusy Basin is the "happy place" I go to when at the dentist, etc.!

it is a wonderful time to visit, *IF* you are an experienced backcountry skier. Otherwise, wait until July.

The last time that I skied over Lamarck Col it was April of a typical snow year.
