I think i would like to go up the SE glacier route to ritter peak after looking at the route and since i am not going to go over ritter pass. Will there be plenty of snow that I am going to need ax and crampons? I would hate to bring them along and not need them. Hoping to get out in about 1.5 weeks as soon as i finish up a project that i am working on.

Look S/W of Ritter pass you'll see some unnamed lakes there. You'll notice the creek flowing out of them is Dyke creek.
