Snowy, ever since I've seen Glass Mtn, its been an attraction. I'd love to climb and ski around this area in the winter....do you know about its accessability in winter? I'm assuming most of the roads are closed approaching it.Snow Nymph wrote:Friday, 24 November 2006

SnowDude had been wanting to climb this peak since we see it from Mammoth Mountain.
I love the new photo format. So much faster than webshots.

We drove up from Hwy 120, which is about 20 miles on dirt roads. You can probably drive up to where it starts switchbacking, and ski the rest of the way. The road is in excellent shape. Looked like they just graded it. From the west side it looks pretty steep.
