I recently stumbled across this puzzling structure near the inlet to Big Pine Lake #1. Obviously, there was more to it at some point. I can't figure out what it could have been. Anyone have any ideas?
Some sort of anchor on the slope above, possibly related.

My best guess would be if you built a small redwood tank on the slab as a catch basin and attached it to the top of the down pipe, then attached more pipe and wheel valves down to a structure, you'd have running water via gravity flow.
If you don't want to be eaten, don't look like food.
