Trip Report: With Llamas across Northern Yosemite

When I first started hiking in the Sierra 42 years ago I sneered at those who depended on pack animals. As time passed, those beasts began to look better.

This summer I tried llamas for the first time. The results were entirely happy. For those interested, a trip report is here:

I kinda want to move out of the city and raise llamas.

Thanks for the report. Great area and some good problem solving.and ingenuity. Llamas are an interesting option

EXCELLENT report. I'd so love to try hiking with llamas on a fishing trip. if anyone needs an extra body to come along, send me a message!
