Buck Lakes via Crabtree TH Info

Post by Cruzberg »

Hi all, I'll be hiking to Buck Lakes from the Crabtree Trail Head through Pine valley this 4th of July weekend. Anyone been through there recently and have any beta on the mosquito levels? Thanks.

Hi Cruzberg,

Welcome to HST! Your post was moved because that thread is specifically for
posting reports only and not for asking for information?
You can use the HST Map (check the mosquito box above the map) and get an
approximate idea of the mosquito levels for the area your interested based on
previous reports: http://www.highsierratopix.com/high-sierra-map/map.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
