That is correct, but email the resort to find out if anything has changed from last year:

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

I wonder if the campground right at the Saddlebag Lake turnoff on 120 has bear boxes???

Calling (760) 647-3044 will clear up any questions about bear boxes in that corridor.

I thought that it is not legal to lock a public FS or park service bear box. (If you mean can you put your stuff inside and then put your own lock on it).
