Is Summit Ranger Station (Stanislaus / Emigrant)

So, I messed up and forgot to call ahead for a permit for an overnight trip to the emigrant tomorrow. The website says the Summit Ranger Station is open on weekends from "Memorial Day". Does anyone know if that include this weekend? I imagine it would, but not certain.
