Here's one with cottonwoods or aspens in lowest section of creek near parking lot.
This second shot is my Saturday night sleeping spot under a boulder. The boulder was the only sheltered spot I found, it's in the small tributary (which was dry) to the south of main Pinyon Creek and before climbing up and to the right to get on top of the mesa.

this gully in Pinion Creek is a somewhat common, local, ski descent in BIG years! Easier to get through with snow!rcymbala wrote:
