OK, I see my error. This is the big pinnacle on the NNE ridge of Tower Peak (pt 10880+ about 0.7 mi NNE of Tower Peak). From this angle (from the NNE), this big pinnacle blocks the view of Tower Peak itself.

In fact, Rogue was quite close (by one peak). The photo was in fact taken while climbing Rodgers.
