Kern river fires restrictions

Post by overheadx2 »

Headed out to the forks with the wife and some friends for an easy fishing weekend. With all the moisture lately have they changed the fire restrictions along the Kern?
If any one is headed up that way this weekend and you see a guy super tall (thus the name overheadx2) on the trail, say hi. Phil

Here is a link to the lessening of the restrictions. You will notice that it says in exhibit "B" that the restrictions are lifted in the Golden Trout Wilderness. When I was at the station in Kernville last week we couldn't find the GTW on the list. I still don't understand but three of us looked and didn't see it. If I had know I would have copied this link and taken it with me.
