You can get resupplied on trail via mule in some areas by some of the pack stations, depending on the area you would be traveling in.

You'll have to be more specific.

I'm not aware of anything other than the ones along the JMT/PCT. Other than arranging with a pack outfit or stopping along those routes, there's only the personal connection - I was a resupplier for a friend this summer, walking 10 lbs of food in to him on a particular day.

Yeah.next September I am returning to the Sierra Nevadas for a backpacking trip.this year and last I trekked in Colorado and Utah.both beautiful but I miss the Sierras! I'm planning a route between Sonora pass and toulemne meadows.about 80-90 miles in 12- 13 days(I take it slow).being from ohio I have no friends to resupply.was hoping to find a pay to resupply service.figured it was a longshot.

I am ready to start planning for September of 2014. I'm considering between highway 108 and 120(with a shuttle service(to be figured out)) wait a sec.that was a joke? Right?

There is no resupply between Sonora Pass and Tuolumne Meadows. I assume you'll mostly be following the PCT and if you are are, you will be relatively remote and far removed from a trailhead. The best bet is as paul noted, is by using a nearby packer. The closest packer I can think of for you would be Virginia Lakes Pack Outfit or even Kennedy Meadows Pack Station or Leavitt Meadows Pack Station, but those are close to Sonora Pass so your starting point.

One possibility is to get either the Kennedy Meadows outfit or the Leavitt Meadows outfit to bring you a resupply at around Bond Pass or Dorothy Lake. If you are taking it slow that ought to be 2-3 days in, so you could start with a just a few days food and then get the bulk of it once you've gotten warmed up. I'm not sure if those guys go south in to Yosemite or not, but one of them must go to Bond pass or Dorothy Lake. I know the Kennedy meadows outfit goes to Grizzly Meadow pretty regularly. You might even be able to coordinate with them so that your resupply tags along with a larger trip. It's worth calling them up to see what they can do.
