How do YOU prepare for the rigorous physical requirements of the Great Outdoors? Strength and endurance are key, but are only half of the battle. How do YOU prepare for changes in altitude, physical activity, diet, rest...comfort? How do you mentally prepare?

Sierra Nevada History / Natural History & Setting
A place to discuss the natural history (see geology & biology) people, constructed infrastructure and historical events that played a part in making the Sierra Nevada as we know it today. Also a place to discuss the unique flora and fauna of the High Sierra.
